Qualifications

• BLS certification by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Oversees ongoing delivery of patient care and nursing process compliance.
• Develops and manages annual operational and capital budget; ensures budget adherence.
• Ensures provision of qualified nursing staff and appropriate scheduling.
• Recruitment, retention, evaluation and development of personnel.
• Fosters diversity and culturally competent care; ensures safe work environment.
• Leads leadership activities; participates in Shared Governance and governance councils.
• Promotes professional development and specialty certifications for staff.
• Supports evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives.
