Job summary

Good Samaritan Medical Center is seeking an innovative healthcare leader to oversee patient care on each shift, weekends, and holidays. The RN will drive staffing effectiveness, patient throughput, and compliance with clinical standards.

The role requires 3 years of clinical experience with at least 1 year in middle management, BSN preferred, and current RN licensure. A comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities are offered in a supportive Palm Beach community.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license and current clinical competencies.
• BSN preferred for leadership track.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• CPI training due within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support in the absence of the Manager/Director and coordinate with disciplines to ensure quality patient care.
• Communicate HR issues and assist in disciplinary actions as warranted; ensure licensure/certifications renewals.
• Ensure staffing plans align with unit needs; optimize schedules and reduce reliance on agency staff.
• Respond promptly to patient/visitor complaints; collaborate with leadership to address guest relations issues.
• Meet departmental goals and coordinate with medical and case management teams for appropriate patient placement.
