Job summary

Guardian of the Heartland, part of the Guardian family, seeks a Nurse Account Manager in the St. Louis metro area. The role requires an LPN or RN license and an active nursing license, with hybrid duties and travel as needed.

You will manage accounts, provide clinical and regulatory expertise, onboard new clients, and conduct on-site training and vaccine clinics as required. CRM and communication are key.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of related experience in long-term care or institutional care settings.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Travel within the assigned territory is routine.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide support and solutions.
  • Resolve service-related issues with pharmacy operations.
  • Lead onboarding activities and provide on-site in-services.
  • Deliver nurse consulting services and clinical education.

Proactively collaborate with client to provide support and deliver solutions ensuring quality care.Work directly with pharmacy operations to address and resolve all service-related issues in a timely manner. Manage client expectations and communicate status and relevant updates through issue resolution.Develop strong working relationships and build trust with clients by consistently delivering exceptional service, support and expertise.Serve as liaison/quality assurance point of contact during new client onboarding process ensuring seamless and error free service. Assist in onboarding activities such as data collection and eMAR support.Conduct on-site in-services and clinical education programs to client staff regarding survey process, medication administration, risk management, and performance improvementProvides nurse consulting services including vaccine clinics, quality assurance audits and clinical and regulatory support.Prepare and deliver business reviews with facility management to review business deliverables and present value-added services.Manage client base through documentation in SalesForce CRM system. This includes tracking of activities, tasks, and contacts with clients.Support and participate in local marketing initiatives to foster relationships, enhance brand awareness and assist in business development efforts.Maintain expertise regarding pharmacy industry standards of practice, regulations, and clinical skills needed to support clients.Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed.Education and/or Certifications:Nursing Degree (LPN) requiredActive State Nursing license requiredValid driver’s license and clean driving recordSkills and Qualifications:3+ years of related experience; experience working in long term care pharmacy and/or institutional patient care setting, such as assisted living or skilled nursing home, preferredAdvanced computer skills, including excel, word and PowerPoint requiredAbility to work independently and deliver to deadlinesAbility to solve problems with minimal directionGreat attention to detail and accuracyAbility to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlinesQuality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire about inaccuracies.
