Ohio has joined the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC), which went into effect January 1, 2023. The NLC allows an RN to hold one multistate license (MSL) in their primary state of residence while practicing virtually or over state lines in 37 other compact states across the country.
DRC is a “qualifying employer” for purposes of the federal Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness program.
All final applicants tentatively selected for this position will be required to submit to urinalysis to test for illegal drug use prior to appointments. Testing will also be performed for the presence of marijuana. A positive test shall result in the applicant not being offered employment unless medical documentation of legally prescribed medications or a recommendation for medical marijuana is provided.
The final applicant selected will be required to undergo a criminal background check. The organization will assess prior convictions before excluding an applicant from consideration.
