Job summary

Chrysalis is seeking a dedicated registered nurse or licensed practical nurse to provide medical support in a residential school setting in Montana. You will assess and treat student injuries and illnesses, administer medications, and maintain accurate medical records.

Collaboration with the program psychiatrist will be essential for student care and medication management. Ideal candidates will hold an active MT RN or LPN license, pass a state background check, and maintain current First Aid/CPR

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; minimum age 21.
• Active Montana RN/LPN license.
• Valid Montana driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Pass Montana state background check.
• Maintain current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in medical terminology, charting, and medication administration.
• Familiar with word processing software and basic network navigation.
• Experience or knowledge of health insurance submission processes.
• CAQH profile and NPI number required for credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Organize, track, and accurately administer prescribed medications.
• Maintain detailed medical documentation and communication with parents and providers.
• Participate in shared on‑call rotation for urgent medical situations.

Registered Nurse Hourly Pay: $31.00 - $41.00, DOE

Licensed Practical Nurse Hourly Pay: $26.00 - $30.00, DOE

Full-time, On-siteposition

TheNurseis responsible for providing medical support to students, including urgent medical care, management of routine health needs, and accurate administration of medications. This role works in a dynamic, fast‑paced residential school environment and plays a vital part in the wellbeing of our students.

TheNursealso collaborates closely with our psychiatrist during monthly student appointments, supports communication with parents regarding medical needs, and assists in training and overseeing nursing team members. Shared on‑call hours apply for emergencies only.
