HukariAscendent is seeking an experienced Work Control Planner - Technical Procedures Lead to support CH-TRU waste operations at a DOE legacy cleanup project in Los Alamos, NM. The role leads technical procedure development, scheduling, and document production, ensuring safe, compliant operations.

The ideal candidate has extensive work control and editing experience, strong writing skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff while coordinating across multiple projects in a high-pressure

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of work control principles, planning, technical writing, editing, and document production.
• Detailed knowledge of nuclear facility requirements including conduct of operations, engineering, and maintenance.
• Advanced editing skills for grammar, style, and content in high-quality documents.
• Experience composing and producing regulatory documents for print and web publication.
• Proven project management in coordinating schedules and deliverables across multiple projects.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; ability to train junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead CH-TRU technical procedures development and implementation.
• Guide CH-TRU technical procedures group and manage deliverable priorities.
• Edit and compose complex regulatory documents for print and web.
• Create templates, style sheets, checklists, and guidelines; maintain drafts and archives.
• Coordinate cross-project scheduling and document control in a fast-paced environment.
