Job summary

Ameren's Callaway Energy Center seeks a professional Engineer to provide technical leadership, optimize reliability of systems, and support plant operations with rigorous adherence to standards. You will evaluate safety, perform root-causal analyses, and coordinate with other departments to implement effective maintenance strategies.

Applicants should have a BS in Engineering from ABET-accredited program, PE or EIT preferred, and Nuclear Utility experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred.
• Nuclear utility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical Program Engineer per Callaway Energy Center procedures and policies.
• Perform safety evaluation screening and disposition of nonconformance reports and RFRs.
• Conduct causal analysis of equipment failures and determine corrective actions.
• Monitor performance of assigned programs and report status to plant management.
