Job summary

Framatome-North-America in Lynchburg, VA seeks a skilled Weld Supervisor apprentice to lead shop fabrication, perform MIG/TIG/STICK welding, and ensure weld quality on NSS components. You will supervise welding tasks, manage rigging, and travel to nuclear sites as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years related welding experience.
• Welding apprenticeship or a two-year welding degree.
• Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick and Flux-core welding and aluminum.
• Must be forklift certified.
• Ability to read and interpret weld blueprints/procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead shop fabrication tasks and specialty welding processes.
• Perform welding on NSS components and related maintenance at nuclear sites.
• Inspect welds as weld supervisor apprentice and ensure quality.
• Handle rigging and material handling; travel to sites as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and proper tooling.
