Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company seeks a Training Manager to lead the strategy, governance, and continuous improvement of training and qualification programs at the Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility in Columbia, SC. This role ensures regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and workforce readiness, while partnering with site leadership to strengthen qualification standards and support business objectives.

Location is 100% onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Adult Learning, Human Resources, Education, Business, Engineering, Physical Science, or related; experience may substitute.
• Advanced degree or coursework in training, organizational development, or regulated industries.
• Minimum 7 years in technical training or qualification programs in regulated environments.
• Minimum 1–2 years in training management or team leadership.
• Experience in nuclear fuel manufacturing or regulated operations with qualification requirements.
• Professional certification related to training, instructional design, leadership, or regulated-industry programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of training and qualification programs for regulatory compliance and workforce readiness.
• Partner with site leadership to identify training needs and align strategies with business goals.
• Manage Training staff and provide oversight of trainers and subject-matter experts.
• Monitor training effectiveness using performance metrics and corrective actions.
• Oversee budgets, records, and qualification documentation to ensure audit readiness.
