Job summary

A leading energy provider is seeking a Nuclear Operations Instructor to develop and maintain training programs at the Callaway Energy Center. Responsibilities include administering formal training, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, and monitoring safety trends. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or an Associate’s Degree, with two or more years of relevant experience. Current NRC licensing is preferred. This full-time position offers a competitive salary from $84,400 to $162,900 and requires strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant experience in training/adult education or heavy industrial environments.
• Previous training instructor experience in a NANT accredited program preferred.
• Current/previous RO or SRO NRC license or certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Administer classroom training for employees.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
• Monitor Condition Reports for training applicability.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to supervise and motivate personnel

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software

Basic understanding of Computer Based Training

Knowledge of Learning Management Systems

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree

High school diploma and 4 years of relevant experience
