The Energy Center is a highly efficient, low-cost, sustainable source of electricity for Ameren Missouri’s 1.2 million customers.
The Nuclear Technical Instructor develops, administers and maintains training programs to support the overall Qualification Programs established at Callaway Energy Center (CEC) and maintains full accreditation for the CEC for their specific discipline, ensuring that the CEC is in full compliance with the requirements for accredited programs under the National Academy for Nuclear Training. Instructors maximize student learning by providing quality training to maintain and improve worker knowledge and skills and improve plant performance.
Under guidance, develops fundamental understanding of the overall training program. Possesses working knowledge of subject matter in technical area. Learning training program standards.
Intermediate skill level for administering training with significant technical area knowledge.
Receives general guidance and supervision on work assignments with more detailed instruction on new assignments.
Provides peer reviews and feedback.
The Nuclear Instructor works a standard day shift in an office/plant environment. Callouts and working rotating or Outage schedules may be required to support plant operations.
Ameren’s selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.
Compensation Range: $84,400.00 - $162,900.00 * This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depends upon applicant’s credentials. At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
