Job summary

Actalent in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking a Systems Engineer III to lead end-to-end lifecycle from concept through commissioning for complex nuclear systems. You will apply INCOSE-aligned methods to ensure requirements traceability, V&V, and interface control across multiple subsystems.

This role requires ABET‑accredited engineering degree, strong experience with RVTM/V&V, and proficiency with JAMA or DOORS. You will collaborate across process, civil, EI&C, and safety teams to prevent interface

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an ABET-accredited engineering discipline.
• Experience using requirements management software (JAMA or IBM DOORS preferred).
• Experience with RVTM and traceability across multiple system levels.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent subsystems through design‑to‑operations lifecycle.
• Experience with engineering change control and interface management.

Responsibilities

• Execute core systems engineering lifecycle from design inception through operations turnover.
• Develop and maintain RVTM/VTM linking stakeholder needs to tests and verification.
• Manage design baselines and interface documents across subsystems.
• Lead V&V planning and execution across lifecycle phases.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and perform change control to prevent interface conflicts.
