Northrop Grumman in Roy, UT is hiring a Nuclear Surety Systems Engineer for the Sentinel program. You will decompose DoD safety manuals into requirements, support design, integration and testing of the weapon system, and perform verification and analyses across mechanical, electrical, and integrated subsystems.

The role requires a TS clearance (investigation within 6 years) and experience with software analyses/test, plus tool knowledge in DOORs, Cameo, TeamCenter, GIT, JAZZ, NX and Capitol.

Qualifications

• US citizen with active Top Secret clearance; investigation within last 6 years
• 3+ years software analyses, testing or verification of requirements
• 3+ years with the listed toolset and languages (DOORs, Cameo, TeamCenter, GIT, JAZZ, NX, Capitol, C, C++)

Responsibilities

• Decompose DoD safety manuals into design requirements
• Support design, integration, and testing of a next‑gen ICBM weapon system
• Participate in system integration, verification, validation, cost, risk, and supportability analyses
• Evaluate security design based on DoD safety manuals
• Interface with DoD and DOE compartments for safe design and operation
• Use model-based engineering tools on a major weapon system
• Learn a niche discipline spanning Nuclear Weapons
