Job summary

KIHOMAC, Inc. in Layton, Utah, is seeking an engineering professional to support a national security-critical weapon system across development, deployment, and sustainment with a focus on nuclear surety analysis, safety evaluations, and MBSE integration.

The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering or science with 3+ years (or 2+ years with a Master’s) and experience with DoD/Nuclear Surety policy and lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science; Master’s preferred.
• DoD/AF Nuclear Surety policy and lifecycle knowledge is required.
• Strong MBSE background with experience in Cameo, Rhapsody or similar tools.
• US citizenship and eligibility for Top Secret clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear surety analysis and risk assessment.
• Provide safety and security evaluations of subsystems.
• Guide Nuclear Safety Design Certification within an MBSE framework.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
