Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 0–2+ years in supplier quality or a similar function.
• Comfort with inspection tools (calipers, gauges, micrometers) and IM&TE preferred.
• Experience creating, reviewing, approving, and archiving electronic quality documents.
• Ability to travel 40–50%.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee supplier surveillance and oversight plans.
• Conduct independent assessments confirming QMS effectiveness for nuclear and Sec. III materials.
• Tackle supplier quality problems and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor performance toward quality targets and balance cost/schedule.
• Produce certification documentation mapping to codes, standards, and customer specs.
• Lead audits across the global supplier base for regulatory compliance.
• Review supplier quality plans against Westinghouse requirements.
• Apply data-driven QC methods to identify root causes and trends.
• Author QA plan segments aligned to NRC, Westinghouse, and customer standards.
• Govern records scope and retention of QA documentation.
