Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to perform design drawings and calculations, applying ASME Code to primary equipment components. You will author deviation reports and support fabricators, reporting to the Manager, Nuclear Component Engineering, at the Cranberry Township, PA headquarters in a hybrid capacity.

The role includes creating drawings, supporting fab reviews, and contributing to safety-focused projects for long-term integrity of nuclear plant

Qualifications

• Performs design drawings and calculations.
• Applies the ASME Code to design work.
• Authors deviation and non-conformance reports for primary equipment.

Responsibilities

• Create design drawings and specifications to support component fabrication.
• Support component fabricators with Fab drawing, material, and weld document reviews; assist with non-conformance and deviation reports.
• Support larger projects defining industry guidance for safe long-term operation of nuclear plant primary equipment.
