Job summary

Delan Associates, Inc is seeking a Scaffolding & Formwork Superintendent to supervise and coordinate scaffold installation and demolition on a nuclear project. You will ensure safety, quality, and adherence to project schedules and budgets.

The role requires a technical college diploma and at least 5 years of supervising construction in the nuclear scaffold domain. Strong leadership, communication skills and familiarity with safety programs are essential for success on site.

Qualifications

Diploma or equivalent in a technical field.
Minimum 5 years of construction and subcontractor supervision experience in scaffold installation and demolition in the nuclear industry.
Ability to supervise a construction project successfully.
Knowledge of construction aspects including technology, equipment, methods, and safety requirements.
Strong communication, organizational, and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule construction activities on site per contract and job cost estimate.
Maintain relationships with client, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and public.
Ensure safe work practices and quality compliance.
Develop, monitor, and update project schedules and look-ahead plans with subcontractors.
Plan and supervise work, manpower, materials, and equipment for the project.
Ensure QA programs and project quality guidelines are followed.
Maintain field documentation including safety records and progress reports.
