Job summary

Edgewater Technical Associates seeks a Nuclear Safety Division Coordinator in Richland, WA to support the Hanford Field Office. The role provides programmatic and logistical support for interactions with DNFSB, DOE-HQ, and other oversight bodies, ensuring timely actions, comprehensive follow-up, and well-documented communications.

The candidate will coordinate reviews, track commitments, prepare status reports, and assist with site visits, training, and related oversight activities.

Qualifications

• Nine years of directly applicable experience.
• Experience interfacing with Hanford stakeholders.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with MS Word, PowerPoint, and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate DNFSB and DOE-HQ interactions and ensure timely, accurate documentation.
• Monitor oversight activities and flag significant issues or sensitivities.
• Support NSD as the point of contact with oversight stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain plans, tools, and procedures for oversight interfaces.
• Coordinate responses to recommendations, commitments, and actions from oversight activities.
• Track inquiries, information requests, and document submissions.
• Review and coordinate reports and documents for DNFSB and oversight audiences.
• Prepare site visit agendas, coordination and training logistics.
