Job summary
Edgewater Technical Associates in Richland, WA seeks a Senior Nuclear Safety & Criticality Consultant to support the DOE Hanford Field Office. You will deliver senior-level nuclear safety consulting, focusing on program and project management within One Hanford, and review contractor reports against DOE standards.
The role requires expert knowledge of criticality safety, ANSI/ANS-8, and DOE program practices, with strong communication and MS Office skills, and readiness to work at Hanford Site.
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in engineering, science or related field.
- Experience providing senior-level nuclear safety consulting on complex projects.
- Specialized knowledge of criticality safety and ANSI/ANS-8 standards.
- Experience improving major projects and programs.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior nuclear safety consulting for One Hanford program needs.
- Review contractor reports against DOE-STD-3009/3007 and 10 CFR 830.
- Oversight of criticality-related operations and readiness/startup assessments.
- Assist in Safety Evaluation Reports and related approvals.
