Candidates should have a B.S. in nuclear or mechanical engineering, familiarity with LWRs, and 3 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

• Familiarity with thermal‑hydraulic behavior of light water reactors (LWRs).
• At least 3 years’ experience developing and/or using codes for LWR safety analysis.
• Eligible to work under 10 CFR Part 810.

Responsibilities

• Develop methods to demonstrate SMR‑300 safety and licensing compliance.
• Perform reactor core and coolant system analyses.
• Manage computer code verification and validation for analyses.
