Job summary

General Matter is seeking a Nuclear Safeguards and Materials Control & Accountability (MC&A) Analyst to ensure compliance with nuclear regulations and maintain accurate inventories at their facility in Los Angeles, CA.

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field with strong knowledge of NRC and DOE safeguards requirements and proficiency in MC&A software. A competitive compensation range of $80,000 to $170,000 annually is offered, along with additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, science, or related field.
• Strong understanding of NRC, DOE, and IAEA regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-security and regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement MC&A programs.
• Monitor nuclear material balances and report on them.
• Prepare regulatory reports related to nuclear material control.
