Job summary

Westinghouse is seeking an Inspector to perform inspections on mechanical and electrical components and assemblies per drawings, specifications or established procedures. The role reports to the Quality Control Supervisor Global I&C Production & IV&V and is based at the Warrendale, PA facility.

Responsibilities include reviewing work orders, inspection procedures, and vendor test data, ensuring adherence to quality procedures, and completing receipt inspections against PO requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical curriculum
• Substitution of recognized technical programs allowed for the required formal education
• Examples: Naval Nuclear or other military program

Responsibilities

• Read engineering work orders and review inspection procedures, drawings and specifications to determine inspection requirements on mechanical and electrical components.
• Follow Westinghouse Quality procedures.
• Review test data from vendors to validate for accuracy.
• Inspect mechanical and electrical components / assemblies and identify defects.
• Review purchase order to complete receipt inspection.
