Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical curriculum is required.
• Military or Naval Nuclear or equivalent programs may substitute for formal education.
• Must meet Westinghouse Level 2 procedure WEC 2.9 and achieve Level 1.
• Certification within 6 months to meet NRC 1.58 and ANSI/ASME 45.2.6.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and review inspection procedures, drawings and specs to determine inspection requirements.
• Follow Westinghouse Quality procedures.
• Review test data from vendors to validate accuracy.
• Inspect mechanical and electrical components/assemblies and identify defects.
• Review purchase orders to complete receipt inspection.
