Job summary

Standard Nuclear is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer to join our regulated manufacturing environment. You will support inspection, verification, and CAPA, helping scale operations safely and efficiently.

You will work with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure compliance with NQA-1 and related standards, lead root cause analyses, and drive continuous improvement across production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field.
• 3+ years in quality engineering, QA, or manufacturing engineering in regulated environment.
• Experience with NQA-1, ISO 9001, AS9100 or similar standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with root cause analysis using structured methods (5 Whys, Fishbone).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality controls to ensure manufacturing processes meet product specs and regulatory requirements.
• Lead root cause investigations for nonconformances, process deviations, and quality events.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify effectiveness.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen manufacturing quality, reliability, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to improve processes, documentation, and inspection methods.
• Support new product introduction and process development by integrating quality requirements into production workflows.
