Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory seeks a Nuclear Quality Engineer to support ATR quality programs, QA across operations, engineering, and procurement. You will develop CGD plans, participate in CAP, and ensure Q requirements are integrated into work packages and schedules.

The role offers 4x10 scheduling at the ATR facility with Fridays off, involvement in welding, NDE, ISI programs, and extensive collaboration across Engineering, Planning, Work Control, and Technical Quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science/engineering/technical field with 2+ years of experience (or 8 years in lieu of degree).
• Level 3 requires 5 years of experience or 2 years with a Master’s.
• Experience with DOE/NQA-1 or related standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement design and quality requirements, and participate in design reviews.
• Provide QA guidance to management, programs, and customers to ensure requirements are understood.
• Conduct quality assessments, audits, and readiness reviews.
