Job summary

Aecon Concessions in Aiken, SC, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to examine products and materials for defects in accordance with project specs and codes. The role requires access to nuclear facilities and eligibility for security clearance; candidates should have welding/QC education or 3+ years' QA/QC experience, and relevant certifications.

You will review tests, maintain Inspection and Test Plans, coordinate with engineers, suppliers, and field staff, and help establish site quality

Qualifications

• Graduate secondary school in welding, QA/QC, or related field, or 3+ years QA/QC experience.
• ACI certification and concrete experience are assets.
• Level I or Level II Visual Weld Inspection certifications are assets.
• Ability to obtain nuclear security clearance and access Savannah River Site.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA inspections on pressure and non‑pressure components and welds.
• Review material test reports and contract documents.
• Maintain and implement site quality plans and ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans).
• Coordinate with engineers, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure work meets codes.
