Job summary

Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is hiring for a Quality Assurance Engineer I in Richland, WA. The role supports Navarro-ATL activities at the 222-S Laboratory and applies NQA-1 quality systems within a nuclear facility.

The position involves design control, non-conforming item processing, audits, and QA documentation maintenance under general supervision. U.S. citizenship is required for the government contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or related field and 7 years related experience.
• US citizenship is required due to government contract requirements.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide QA/control engineering services for Navarro-ATL activities at the 222-S Laboratory.
• Review quality reports, identify quality problems or trends, and perform QC inspections.
• Lead audits and surveillance, including supplier/subcontractor audits.
• Provide QA support to procurement through oversight, vendor qualification, and QA requirements.
