Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions seeks Quality Electrical, Mechanical, Structural & Civil QC Inspectors to join our new nuclear market team on active Blackfoot construction sites. You will inspect works, test materials, and ensure conformance with project specs and safety standards.

Candidates should have 3–5+ years in quality inspection, strong materials knowledge, and proficient use of inspection tools. Travel to multiple sites and a valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of quality inspection experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of works and structures to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Perform material testing and analysis, and other relevant assessments.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to quality control plans and procedures.
• Identify and document any defects or non-conformities, and work with the construction team to implement corrective actions.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare comprehensive reports on findings.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality-related issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on the job site.
