Job summary

Valar Atomics is hiring a QA Laboratory Technician to perform analytical, inspection, and testing activities in the QA Laboratory of an advanced nuclear fuel manufacturing facility. The role ensures materials and finished components meet stringent regulatory and safety standards, with data-driven support for production, engineering, and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a scientific field and relevant lab experience.
  • Strong documentation, data integrity, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working in regulated/high-precision environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Testing & inspection of materials and components using approved procedures.
  • Sample handling and preparation per quality protocols with traceability.
  • Accurate data recording in LIMS and documenting anomalies or trends.
  • Operate and maintain lab instrumentation; perform calibrations as required.
  • Support internal audits and regulatory quality checks (NQA-1, ISO 17025).
  • Adhere to radiation safety and hazardous materials handling requirements.
