Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a Project Engineer in order engineering to review data, generate 2D drawings and 3D models, and coordinate schedules for standard and custom pump and seal orders. The role emphasizes improving quality, cost, and delivery using lean and Six Sigma tools.

You will interface with procurement, planning, manufacturing, and suppliers, support design reviews, and manage multiple projects with tight milestones while applying manufacturing know-how and nuclear industry standards.

Qualifications

• BS degree in mechanical engineering and 5-7 years design engineering experience.
• Experience with 2D/3D drafting and modeling; SolidWorks preferred.
• Strong knowledge of nuclear industry guidelines (HI, 10CFR50, 10CFR21, API, CSA, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Review and interpretation of customer specifications.
• Create complete engineering bills of materials and drawings.
• Meet project schedule milestones for engineering deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance to procurement, planning, manufacturing, and suppliers.
• Conduct design reviews to ensure components & assemblies comply with customer specs and design requirements.
• Manage multiple projects with complex designs and oversee resources.
• Perform engineering calculations and analysis to support design efforts.
• Review and approve suppliers' documentation.
• Support technical discussions with customers and other functions.
