Sulzer is seeking a Project Engineer Nuclear in Chattanooga, TN. You will support planning, execution, and monitoring of technical projects, verifying that parts meet design specifications and ASME codes. You will generate BOMs and drawings, perform evaluations to resolve issues, and ensure compliance with standards.

The role requires collaboration, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in CAD tools and MS Office. FE certification is a plus. U.S. Citizenship/Residency requested.

Qualifikationen

• Requires a minimum of three years of mechanical engineering experience in rotating equipment design.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD tools.
• FE Certification is desirable but not mandatory.

Aufgaben

• Verifies that replacement parts, new equipment, retrofit pumps, and refurbished pumps meet design specs and ASME codes.
• Generates and maintains the design BOM and drawings per engineering specs and ASME standards.
• Performs technical evaluations to resolve non-conformance reports, supplier deviations, and design changes.
• Reviews cross-sectional and general arrangement drawings for compliance with GD&T and standards.
• Supports Lean, ESH, and quality management initiatives and company policies.
