Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a Project Engineer in Order Engineering to review data, develop 2D drawings and 3D models, and finalize BOMs for standard and custom pump and seal orders. You will coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to meet schedules and drive improvements in quality, cost, and delivery using lean and Six Sigma tools.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in interpreting customer specifications and translating to design.
• Ability to work with lean/Six Sigma tools to improve cost, quality and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret customer specifications.
• Assist in material selection to meet project requirements.
• Create complete engineering bills of material and drawings.
• Meet project schedule milestones for engineering deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance to procurement, planning, manufacturing, and suppliers.
• Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Manage multiple projects with complex designs.
• Perform engineering calculations and analysis in support of design.
• Review and approve suppliers’ documentation.
• Support technical discussions with customers and other functions.
