Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Shoreview, MN is seeking a Principal Project Manager/Component Delivery Manager to lead the design, fabrication and installation of fuel handling equipment for nuclear power plants. You will own project management processes, planning and executing low to high complexity projects with teams of 1–10 members, reporting to the Manager of Projects in a hybrid work arrangement.

This role requires a technical Bachelor's degree, 6+ years of PM experience in equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience leading project teams in equipment design/fabrication.
• PMP certification or commitment to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage project plans, scope, schedule, and cost baselines.
• Oversee all project aspects: scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and stakeholders.
• Prepare cost forecasts and progress evaluations (Earned Value) for performance reporting.
• Ensure compliance with contractual commitments and profitability targets.
• Foster relationships with team, customers, suppliers, and partners for successful completion.
• Coordinate disciplined project communications to keep stakeholders informed.
• Promote continuous improvement to add value.
