Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a chemical/process engineer to design, engineer and test systems for industrial and nuclear applications in allied projects. You will collaborate with multidiscipline teams and leadership to deliver compliant design packages and technical reports.

The role requires 2-4 years in chemical engineering, familiarity with standards, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in chemical process engineering.
• DOE or DOD project experience is a plus.
• Lead process engineer with experience in development of design packages.
• Familiar with current codes, standards, and good engineering practices.
• Analytical skills for preliminary cost estimates for proposals.
• Strong communication and ability to lead teams.

Responsabilités

• Compile Design Basis or Requirements documentation.
• Develop material and energy balances for chemical processes.
• Prepare PFDs, UFDs and P&IDs.
• Perform equipment sizing calculations.
• Perform line sizing and pressure drop calculations using software.
• Develop datasheets and specifications as needed.
• Conduct What-If analyses, HAZOP, PHA reviews & FMECA.
• Prepare Process Control Narratives and deliverables list.
