Job summary

Constellation Energy is hiring Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators at Clinton Nuclear Power Station in Clinton, IL. The program trains candidates to supervise licensed reactor operators and prepares them for NRC licensing in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

Successful trainees progress through classroom and on-the-job training, aiming to obtain an SRO license and assume supervisory duties.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or PE license is required or strongly preferred.
• SRO Instructor certification is required or highly desirable.
• Advanced nuclear or reactor operations knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) with classroom and on-the-job training.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license and supervise licensed operators.
• Support outage activities and emergency response as needed.
