Job summary

Zap Energy, Everett, WA, seeks a Supply Chain Manager to lead hardware fulfillment for Nuclear Plant development. You will craft a sourcing plan, identify long‑lead components, and drive a high cadence of reactor development with strategic partnerships.

You will own vendor selection, maintain master data for manufacture and procurement, and accelerate procurement of Zap Energy capital equipment to support test stands. Strong NPI experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, supply chain management or other technical field.
• 5+ years in a technical role at an OEM or manufacturing company.
• 2+ years in a senior supply chain, business, manufacturing, quality role or equivalent.
• Strong experience with New Product Introduction – experience in the different stages of the product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the on-time delivery of hardware for nuclear power plant test stands and technology demonstrators.
• Build and maintain a hardware rich development program for nuclear plant design.
• Shorten the development cycle by reducing the engineering to stock lead time.
• Develop a sourcing plan for every part contained in your assigned system.
• Own vendor selection for critical components in the system.
• Develop and maintain the master data necessary to manufacture and procure all of the hardware for your assigned nuclear device/system.
• Identify and lead procurement of any Zap Energy owned capital equipment necessary to produce plant/test stand hardware.
• Facilitate completion of non-disclosure, terms and conditions agreements with potential vendors.
