Job summary

Southern Nuclear is seeking a Site Project Lead to manage implementation of major projects at Vogtle. The role reports to the Manager of Site Projects and requires oversight of project teams, alignment with design intent, and adherence to codes. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualified candidates will have leadership experience, capital project management skills in energy facilities, and strong communication abilities. A BS in engineering or related technical field is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or related technical field (preferred but not required).
• Demonstrated leadership experience is required.
• Experience managing capital projects in a power plant setting preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills are required.
• Knowledge of contracts and cost/benefit analysis is desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead project teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Ensure site implementation aligns with design intent and codes.
• Coordinate resources and stakeholder responsibilities for turnover.
• Perform risk assessment and mitigation for projects.
• Travel up to 25% to support field activities.
