Ameren Missouri's Callaway Energy Center in Missouri seeks an Engineer to provide technical conscience and ownership for safe, reliable nuclear plant operation. The role supports regulatory compliance, equipment optimization, and long-term asset management.

Responsibilities include program ownership, NRC compliance, troubleshooting, design changes, and serving as Responsible Engineer or Project Manager on projects. Occasional outages and emergency response duties apply.

Formación

• ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science in Engineering required; electrical engineering preferred.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred.
• Previous Nuclear Utility experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and own assigned technical programs, systems, components and design.
• Ensure compliance with NRC regulations, industry codes/standards, and plant procedures.
• Perform evaluation and causal analysis of equipment conditions and determine corrective actions.
• Trend and monitor system health and performance via data, inspections and walkdowns.
• Interface with Operations, Maintenance and regulatory agencies for cost-effective maintenance planning.
• Provide engineering support during outages and operational events.
• Support troubleshooting and provide technical expertise for significant plant events.
• Review specifications and manuals to determine testing and maintenance of safety-related equipment.
• Develop and revise engineering documents, procedures and specifications.
• Perform engineering evaluations of NRC/INPO documents and share operating experience.
• Prepare procedure revisions and support changes in configuration or design basis.
• Act as Responsible Engineer or Project Manager for projects or modifications.

Educación

ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science in Engineering

Electrical Engineering degree preferred

EIT or PE Registration preferred
