Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Spencer, NC is seeking a Service Worker to perform cleaning of restrooms, cafeterias, entryways and some warehouse areas. You will vacuum, dust, sweep, mop and handle trash while using power equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor machines.

A level 1 Nuclear Access Badge is required, with PAT and RWT training as needed. Shift includes 40-hour weeks, with overtime during outages.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent work experience.
• Satisfy all requirements required to obtain a level 1 Nuclear Access Badge
• Complete training and testing for PAT and RWT as required by the areas assigned to perform the task.

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms, cafeterias, entryways and some warehouse areas.
• Vacuum, dust, sweep, mop and empty trash; spot-clean carpet.
• Operate power equipment safely and as required.
• Communicate with co-workers, supervisors and sponsors to ensure safe, quality work.
