Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Nuclear Pharmacy Technician to assist in preparing and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals under supervision. You will ensure accurate labeling, dosing, and documentation while maintaining strict regulatory compliance.

The role involves a 2:00 am–10:00 am shift, potential weekend, holiday, and overtime assignments, and a strong emphasis on teamwork and safety in a nuclear environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold Maryland Pharmacy Technician registration or license. PTCB preferred.
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a licensed Staff Pharmacist, trained to draw, dispense and package radiopharmaceuticals.
• Prepares prescriptions by labeling and obtaining Staff Pharmacist approval.
• Draws doses into syringes or vials; performs QA tests on instruments and radiopharmaceuticals.
• Receives, documents and stores pharmaceuticals per DOT and company guidelines.
• Maintains inventory and records for Rx drugs; assists in labeling blood cell products.
• Delivers to accounts using company vehicles; handles customer inquiries by phone.
