Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Technician II, Nuclear Pharmacy to assist pharmacists in safe, accurate radiopharmaceutical preparation and dispensing. You will learn facility and equipment prep, inventory management, and record-keeping under supervision.

The role involves quality checks, order fulfillment, and assisting in labeling and deliveries. As training progresses, you will handle routine tasks in a nuclear pharmacy environment, maintain documentation, and support customer interactions as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–1 years experience preferred.
• State Board of Pharmacy registration/licensure as Pharmacy Technician or PTCB preferred.
• Experience as Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• IV experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
• Must be 18+ to drive company vehicle.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Flexible with shifts and overtime as needed.
• Able to work in a nuclear environment.
• Weekend/holiday/on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, assist pharmacist and Technician II in dispensing radiopharmaceuticals.
• Train to prepare, draw, dispense, and package radiopharmaceuticals per regulations.
• Perform quality checks and order fulfillment.
• Maintain inventories and records; document transactions.
• Assist in labeling/delivery to accounts; communicate with customers.
