Job summary

Siemens Healthineers Radiopharma Solutions in the United States is seeking a Nuclear Pharmacist to oversee production, QC, and dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with pharmacy regulations, cGMP and radiation safety standards. Working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, you will help ensure the safe and timely delivery of products used in advanced diagnostic imaging.

  • Communicates effectively with a proven ability to interpret information and provide and/or follow complex instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Strong customer relations skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Windows applications.

Responsibilities

  • Production of radionuclides
  • Preparation and testing of radiopharmaceuticals
  • Dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory commitments including the cGMP, Radiation Safety, Pharmacy laws and corporate policies and procedures and other applicable Federal, State and Local authorities.
  • Responsible and accountable under State Pharmacy Law, for all actions of personnel working in the permitted pharmacy area, in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager (PIC).
  • Delivers and ensures performance of aseptic techniques, including sterility test and pyrogen testing per company standard operating procedures.
  • Ensures performance of QC procedures using analytical equipment and chemical tests per company standard operating procedures.
  • Maintains all applicable documents and records.
  • Prepares shipment of radioactive materials according to procedure and licensing authorities requirements.
  • Provides support in operation and maintenance of cyclotron, chemistry modules, QC equipment and associated software.

Job Description

As a Nuclear Pharmacist, you will oversee the production, quality control, and dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with pharmacy regulations, cGMP requirements, and radiation safety standards. Working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, you will help ensure the safe and timely delivery of products used in advanced diagnostic imaging. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and a commitment to quality, compliance, and patient safety.

This role requires an overnight/ early shift start time typically M-F / weekend rotation once every 4-6 weeks This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career.

As a Nuclear Pharmacist, you will be responsible for:

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is: $111,910 - $153,879 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
