Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG is seeking a Nuclear Pharmacist to oversee the production, quality control, and dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals in a regulated environment, ensuring safety and quality. The role requires an early shift start typical between 12am-2am M-F with weekend rotation every 4-6 weeks, and leadership of non-exempt personnel in a cGMP/Radiation Safety setting.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy License or ability to acquire license.
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
• Strong communication and ability to interpret complex instructions.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Strong customer relations skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Windows applications.

Responsibilities

• Production of radionuclides.
• Preparation and testing of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory commitments including cGMP, Radiation Safety, Pharmacy laws and corporate policies and procedures and other applicable Federal, State and Local authorities.
• Responsible and accountable under State Pharmacy Law, for all actions of personnel working in the permitted pharmacy area, in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager (PIC).
• Delivers and ensures performance of aseptic techniques, including sterility test and pyrogen testing per company standard operating procedures.
• Ensures performance of QC procedures using analytical equipment and chemical tests per company standard operating procedures.
• Maintains all applicable documents and records.
• Prepares shipment of radioactive materials according to procedure and licensing authorities requirements.
• Provides support in operation and maintenance of cyclotron, chemistry modules, QC equipment and associated software

Job Description:

As a Nuclear Pharmacist, you will oversee the production, quality control, and dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with pharmacy regulations, cGMP requirements, and radiation safety standards. Working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, you will help ensure the safe and timely delivery of products used in advanced diagnostic imaging. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and a commitment to quality, compliance, and patient safety.

This role requires an early shift start time typically between 12am-2am M-F / weekend rotation once every 4-6 weeks

The base pay range for this position is: $96,570 - $132,781. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
