Qualifikationen

• Manual dexterity for dispensing doses.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive in various conditions.
• Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, on-call and holidays.
• Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy systems.
• Authorized User certification preferred; Nuclear Pharmacy training available.
• Knowledge of state/federal regulations for radiopharmaceuticals.

Aufgaben

• Takes telephone orders and learns order systems.
• Prepares and dispenses radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with regulations.
• Performs quality control tests and packages doses for shipping.
• Assays medications to determine identity and strength.
• Oversees inventory and 5S housekeeping.
• Participates in continuous improvement and leadership training.
• May oversee facility operations as Pharmacist in Charge.
• Trains new pharmacy staff.
• Delivers doses when necessary.
