Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Nuclear Engineer to serve as technical lead for MOV code and regulatory requirements across the nuclear fleet. You will own the MOV program documents, budgets, and software interfaces while coordinating complex engineering projects and mentoring staff.

The role requires ABET engineering credentials, nuclear plant experience, and the ability to obtain unescorted site access. Travel and cross-functional collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required or equivalent.
• Minimum nuclear power plant experience and site badging eligibility.
• Ability to obtain unescorted access and security clearances.
• Travel 5-15% as needed for outages and site work.

Responsibilities

• Lead MOV code and regulatory compliance for the nuclear fleet.
• Own MOV program documents, budgets, and software interfaces.
• Review revisions, prepare and check MOV calculations.
• Coach and mentor engineers and non-degreed professionals.
• Prepare technical reports and coordinate complex projects.
