Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. The PRN role involves performing nuclear scans under radiologist supervision and maintaining QC and safety protocols. On-site responsibilities include equipment upkeep and isotope management in a busy acute-care setting.

Qualifications include AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine training, ARRT certification, Florida license, and BLS/CPR. Two to three business day review is requested for applications.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of formal radiological training in an AMA-approved school of Nuclear Medicine.
• 3 years experience as a registered nuclear medicine technologist in an acute care hospital.
• ARRT registration in good standing with Florida Radiation License required.

Responsibilities

• Orders isotopes as needed for pending studies.
• Maintains equipment and hot lab per regulations.
• Performs QC procedures and maintains radiation safety logs.
• Cross-trained in other radiology modalities when possible.
• Follows American College of Radiology guidelines.
