Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Education from Nuclear Medicine Technology program; CT as applicable per JRC standards.
• Meets ACR requirements to perform Nuclear Medicine exams.
• Current CNMT and/or ARRT certification and NY DOH Radiologic Technologist license.
• New York DOH Radiologic Technologist license with limited Nuclear Medicine and CT practice.

Responsibilities

• Empathetic and instructional approach to patient care.
• Prepare, calibrate and administer radiopharmaceuticals under supervision.
• Perform quality control procedures.
• Operate imaging, laboratory, and computer instrumentation.
• Qualified to perform CT functions with SPECT/CT exams.
• Travel to other nuclear cardiology sites as needed.
