Job summary

Montefiore Nyack Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnosis and/or therapy, and to operate nuclear medicine equipment with care and precision. The role supports patient care across the radiology service line, emphasizing safety, accuracy, and patient satisfaction.

Qualified candidates will possess NY licensure, ARRT or Nuclear Medicine Certification Board credentials, and ideally at least three years of experience.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience preferred.
• Licensure by NYS Department of Health.
• Registry with ARRT and/or Nuclear Medicine Certification Board.

Responsibilities

• Oversee modality-specific Quality Assurance Program.
• Perform weekly inventory of supplies; submit items to be ordered.
• Submit preliminary time schedule to Department Manager.
• Communicate issues to Department Manager for resolution.
• Assist in formulation and implementation of modality-specific policies, procedures and protocols.
• Perform responsibilities of Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
