Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diverse Nuclear Medicine procedures, ensure patient safety, and support quality initiatives. This role requires ARRT/NMTCB certification or NMTCB, and an Ohio radiological license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the ARRT(N) or NMTCB; Valid State of Ohio Radiological License required.
• Prior experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred.
• Effective Communication Skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care, ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism within established Radiology and Imaging National standards.
• Performs a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures both professional and non-clinical consistent with optimal image quality.
• Responsible for entering on-line charges in the computer system (Radiology Information System-RIS) and accountable for charges as specified by the Administrative Policy, ensuring a high level of accuracy.
