Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging in a collaborative healthcare environment. This full-time, day-shift role includes a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a no after-hours, weekend, or holiday call requirement.

Preferred candidates will be graduates of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program, licensed as required in Ohio, and registered with ARRT(N) or NMTCB.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (N), or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
• Valid State of Ohio Radiological License required.
• Prior experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care, ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism within established Radiology and Imaging National standards.
• Performs a variety of Nuclear Medicine procedures both professional and non‑clinical consistent with optimal image quality.
• Responsible for entering on‑line charges in the computer system (RIS) and accountable for charges as specified by policy, ensuring a high level of accuracy.
